This year, 2022, on the 7th-10th of November, the Australian Province of the Order of St. Paul the First Hermit held its Provincial Chapter. The Chapter elected a new provincial council.

We congratulate Fr. Jarosław Zań on his election to Provincial, along with Fr. Damian Mosakowski as Vicar-Provincial and the Definitors Fr. Joseph Maria Buckley, Fr. Wojciech Śliwa and Fr. Peter James Strohmayer, along with Fr. Jeremy Santoso as Administrator. We ask that you keep them all in your prayers as they take up the leadership of the Australian Province of the Order of St. Paul the First Hermit.

We also thank the outgoing provincial, Fr. Albert Wieslaw Wasniowski, who served as Provincial for the last five years, along with his council, Fr. Richard Green, Br. Bruno Kanamis for their years of service to the Pauline Fathers and God’s people.

Br. Paul’s First Profession

Congratulations to Br. Paul, who made his first profession in the Order. Br. Paul will soon commence his studies for the Priesthood at the Angelicum in Rome. Br. Matthew began his canonical novitiate last night. It is the Pauline Fathers’ current tradition to begin and end the Noviciate on the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We pray for both men as they continue to answer God’s Call.

On the 9^th of June 2018, Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Fr Joseph Maria Buckley OSPPE was ordained to the priesthood at Marian Valley, Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, by the Most Rev. Columba Macbeth-Green, bishop of Wilcannia-Forbes. We wish him all the best in his future ministry.

The Province would like to congratulate Br. Jeremy Santoso OSPPE on professing his Solemn Vows, at Our Mother House in Poland, on the transferred feast of the Annunciation. (09/04/18)

Solemn Profession makes one a full member of the Order and entitles one to the white mantle of the order. This mantle is worn for solemn occasions in choir, in processions and for solemn gatherings.

On the 17^th-18^th of October, the Australian Province of St. Paul the First Hermit had its provincial chapter, which elected the new provincial chapter. We congratulate Fr. Albert on being elected provincial and the new council members. We also thank Fr. Jarek for his years of service as provincial.
